Alpha 2 Omega Homes is based in Derby. A2O has highly qualified staff and quality resources. Staff qualifications include BA, BPhil, BSc, NVQ 3 & 4, BSL, qualified teachers, nurses, youth workers and therapists. A2O staff group reflect today’s multi-cultural heritage. Resources include a fantastic, vibrant multi-cultural community, on the doorstep to the Peak National Park and a partnership with AALA licensed outdoor pursuits provider. Because of this diverse community A2O can realistically work with unaccompanied minors, supporting most with their home language. A2O works to redress the stereotypical view and attitude of drift, invisibility and cultural heritage that many looked after young people experience by developing self awareness, managing feelings, decision making, managing stress, personal responsibility, self concept, empathy, communications, group dynamics and conflict resolution.
