Bay View Child Care is in a semi rural location in the North West of England convenient for all motorway links. The management team have over thirty years of working relationships with multi agency, this enables strong links to not only be beneficial to the young people & staff but also to the wider community. The more services available to the young people through networking, can only bring about positive change and achieve better outcomes for each individual. These include Education, YOT, Camhs, Connexions, Drug & Alcohol Services, LAC Nurse, Police and Outdoor educational activities. Paul Johnson a Director and Registered Manager of Bay View although has worked over 12 years with children and young people, he recently worked for Lancashire County Council for over 5 years as a Children’s Home Manager. Placements are available for male and female children & young people from 8 to 17 years of age, including siblings. Bay View believe in the Social Pedagogy approach which is used to describe a range of work that includes both social work and education with a perspective which aims to promote human welfare through child development & educational practices ; and to prevent or ease social problems by providing people with the means to manage their own lives, and make changes in their circumstances.
