Cross Lane

Cross Lane is a large detached property of the leafy town of Marple, Manchester, and is easily accessible via the M56, M60, M62 and M6 motorways.

The new owners have completely re decorated and spent a large amount of money bringing Cross Lane completely up to date.

Cross Lanes new Management team have been brought together for their own experiences and qualifications that they are able to offer

Cross Lane Children’s Home is an independent, residential social care provider with both short-term and long-term accommodation for up to four young people, aged 11-18 of either gender, with challenging behaviour, emotional difficulties and mild learning disabilities.
 
Cross Lane aims to improve the lives of young people by taking a holistic approach to their wellbeing.  The improvement of their emotional and physical welfare is promoted by taking into account the elements that promote happiness
Each young person at Cross Lane will receive the appropriate support mechanisms  in order to provide the best  ‘therapeutic intervention’ where problems issues and concerns are identified and worked on in a timely, structured, supportive and learning style.

They will ensure every young person at Cross Lane will receive positive reinforcement and unconditional positive regard, to aid and assist their learning and development.

Cross Lane employs a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist called Cassandra Dunlop who has extensive experience of working with young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties.

Emergency placements can be taken.
