Seasons of Joy Children’s Home is based in the borough of Enfield, North London. The accommodation comprises of a three bedroom residential house. The property is advantageously placed with main road connections to London, Heathrow and Stanstead Airports and many other cities in the Southeast. It is less than half a mile from the M25 motorway and about two miles from the North Circular (A406). It benefits a two-minute walking distance from a British Rail (Turkey Street Stn) link with Liverpool Station and a ten-minute drive from Seven Sisters and Wood Green underground stations.

Seasons of Joy offers emergency and planned placements for children who find living in a family environment too difficult due to their past experiences of family life. They may have experienced emotional, physical or sexual abuse and or neglect. These experiences impinge on their ability to respond to the pressures of day-to-day living. Promoting positive social interactions in both formal and informal settings and enabling them to make sense of their past experiences will allow them to develop strategies for everyday living and enable them to integrate, positively into the wider community.

Their aim is to allow each child to develop an understanding, acceptance and realistic view of family life. Using on going assessment and individually designed packages of care we are able to promote appropriate attachments and behaviours which will allow the children to reflect upon their experiences and use this to move forward.
