It is with pleasure that I am able to inform you that a NEW provider HOPSTONE COTTAGE based in Wolverhampton, West Midlands is now open and ready to receive referrals.

Their home has three (3) places for children aged 4 – 12 years on admission and is ideally suited to either single placements or siblings groups and offers a Therapeutic Residential Children’s Home and registered by OFSTED.

Hopstone Cottage will provide an evidence based Therapeutic Treatment Programme for traumatised children designed and based on the 5 outcomes and 7 Core Aims.  This will encompass specialist needs and provide children with a holistic experience of care, allowing them to regress, re-experience and reflect on past events, whilst within a safe family home managed by qualified caring adults.

They also have an on-site Educational facility for children who may require additional support.

Hopstone Cottage aim is to enable children to settle and make healthy attachments.  They will support them in understanding their past and help them to work through and survive their traumatic experiences, thus successfully moving forward with their lives.

The care manager for Hopstone Cottage is Lee Ridgley.  Lee has over 15 years’ experience of managing children’s homes and has previously achieved and maintained ‘outstanding’  from OFSTED.  He is held in high regard by many.

Lee and his committed team will implement our aims to provide positive outcomes for traumatised children.

Hopstone Cottage emulates a small family home environment with a high ratio of staff to children to ensure the provision of a home that is both nurturing and safe.
