Penarth Group

Penarth Group is based South of Manchester and has been established since 1995, celebrating 16 years of positive outcomes for young people with challenging and complex needs. The group provides residential care, supported living and education, spread across four sites and all of their provisions are Ofsted / DCFS registered. They cater for young people aged from 7-24 of either gender and cultural diversity, all young people will go through a period of assessment and an individual needs led service will be devised. They offer placements ranging from emergency, short term assessments with rehabilitation back home, as well as medium to long term placements. Working specifically with young people who have experienced trauma, attachment disorders, self harm, sexualised behaviour, sexual exploitation, challenging and offending behaviour, mild to moderate learning difficulties, ADHD, ADD, ASD, fragile x, klinfelters syndrome, mental health issues, alcohol and drug dependency. Their service prides it’s self on having experienced and qualified staff teams in many areas of professionalism, all staff have the minimum of NVQ3, within their team they have qualified councillors, therapists and education. This enables them to provide an holistic package of care education and support, from childhood to adulthood.
